Support Request: script in custom button in browser navbar

Description

Hello,

I would like to add a custom button to the browser's navigation bar to display help elements on sitekiosk's page.
Creating internal popups is quite difficult, so I created a workflow that shows or hides some elements on the page.
This workflow is triggered when a variable changes.

So, I created a custom button that triggers a script intended to change the value of a variable.

Here is the code:
siteKiosk.content.runtime.setVariableValue("aff_scan", "1");

Unfortunately, this doesn't trigger anything and doesn't change the variable's value.

Is there a way to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Thank you.

Hello,

as described in the help documentation, it is not possible to access the content area of the API from within the browser area (for technical reasons): https://sitekiosk.online/help/en/Scripting.html

However, you can, for example, place a button element next to the website element instead.
This also allows you to change the variable without using a script (via >Action >Change Variable).
