Support Request: Access Denied

Description

When I try to access https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/ via build-in Chrome Browser (Chromium) I have an error message. With IE Browser is the same problem. The website is in whitelist. When I use browsers like Microsoft Edge or Chrome on the same PC without using SiteKiosk the website works well. What’s the problem?

Thank you for your inquiry. With some preliminary testing on several features of SiteKiosk Classic, it can be determined that the CDN (Content Delivery Network) service for the web site is blocking SiteKiosk Browser. Whatever the reason, will need further analysis and that will come after the holidays. If you have more information, you can contact the service vendor on specific browser requirements and share with us. SiteKiosk Classic uses Chromium CEF and the current version (9.9.7077) uses Chromium 127.0.6533.120: https://www.sitekiosk.com/sitekiosk-classic-windows-version-history/

This issue is not present with SiteKiosk Online which uses Electron Browser (Chromium 130). Though SiteKiosk Classic is still supported, it has reached legacy status. You can test SiteKiosk Online 30 days for free (no hassle): https://us.sitekiosk.online/

The block or "Access Denied" message is provided by your CDN service based on security criteria set by your organization. We could not identify any other setting or feature on our browser to remediate the prevention of visiting your website with SiteKiosk Classic. The browser engine used by SiteKiosk Classic version 9.9 build 7077 is Chromium CEF 127.0.6533.120.

The best solution is to contact the website security team of your organization to make exceptions for SiteKiosk Classic. The alternative solution is our product SiteKiosk Online which is based on Electron Browser (Chromium-based).
